Hi there! I am one of the organisers of a fund raising group based in Leicester called ‘Special Charity Nites!’ -
We give up our free time to organise events to raise money and awareness for the registered charity
– Muscular Dystrophy Campaign.
Many of our events are based around live music concerts and dining or leisure pursuits,
attracting 100’s to 1000’s of people.
At our first event in July, we raised over £400 in one evening at a very small venue in Leicester.
The night was such a great success we were quickly asked to repeat it – BUT BIGGER AND BETTER –
later in the year, and who were we to say “No!”.
